The Valentines LLC have been awarded the glass replacement project for the Aria Condominium High-Rise located in Southwest Florida. The project will consist of replacing over 900 glass openings. The owners will experience the ability to lower their energy bills as well as receive increased protection from impending storms. This Building Envelope upgrade will take approximately 3 to 4 months to complete.
The Valentines LLC have completed the metal portion of the Columbia Citi Residences project located in New Orleans. This high profile project has been visited by the President and First Lady, HUD Secretary Shaun Donovan and businessman Warren Buffet. The Valentines LLC provided over 35,000 feet of railing, the complete stair package for the 73 buildings as well as over 3,000 shutters. This project is part of the rebuilding efforts following hurricane katrina. The Valentines LLC performs on projects located within the Southeast United States.
The Valentines LLC have been awarded the Metal as well as the Glass/Glazing scopes for the Florida Gulf Coast University Student Housing Parking Garage B. This project consist of approximately 312,000 square feet and will accomodate 1,196 cars. It will contain a ground floor along with 5 elevated levels. Florida Gulf Coast University sits on 760 acres, has a student body of more than 12,000 and is located in Southwest Florida
The Valentines LLC have been awarded misc. metals scope for the Acedemic Center and Plaza at New College of Florida Located in Sarasota. Located immediately north of the Jane Bancroft Cook Library, the 35,000 square-foot facility will be home to the Division of Humanities. It will contain classrooms, faculty offices and a small café. The Center, together with a large plaza connecting it with Cook Library, promises to become the campus hub, the natural meeting point throughout the week for students, faculty and staff. Its location will enable the College to maximize the benefits associated with the organizational and technological changes occurring at the library under the direction of its new Dean, Dr. Brian Doherty. The Valentines LLC team is proud to be a part of this great project.
The Valentines LLC have been awarded the glass replacement contract for Provence Condominium. The High-rise property is located in Naples Florida. The project will consist of replacing over 1,500 pieces of glass and will provide the unit owners the opportunity to enjoy a more energy effecient living area.
The Valentines LLC have been awarded the complete Div 5 Metals and Div 8 Glass-Glazing scopes for the modernization of the George C Young Federal Building & Courthouse located in Orlando Florida. The structure, which was built in the 1970’s and is located in the downtown area of Orlando, is 6 stories, 180,000 square feet and is undergoing a $49 million renovation / modernization. The project is expected to be completed and ready for federal use again sometime in 2012. The project is aiming for a LEED-Silver certification.
The Valentines LLC recently implemented estimating technology that will equip the company to become more effecient and accurate in the bidding process. OnScreen technology provides integration and quick communication with our General Contractors and Construction Managers that will assist in streamlining the process from the bidding to the construction phases of each project. This technology will also move the company in the direction of becoming more “Green” and environmentally friendly as it will reduce our use of paper by up to 75%.
The Valentines LLC has been awarded a contract for several metal and glass applications for Hough Hall located at the University of Florida in Gainseville. Hough Hall will house the Graduate School of Business and will serve as a fantastic addition to the great architectural look that the campus of UF has worked toward. The Valentines LLC has reached the 50% completion point for the largest Government Housing Project currently under construction in New Orleans. The Valentines LLC was invited to participate in this project after successfully performing on many large scale projects with similiar metal applications. This particular housing project is being constructed to replace a housing project that was destroyed during hurricane Katrina. The Valentines LLC consistently performs at a high level on large scale projects.
The Valentines LLC has been awarded the contract for both the Glass/Glazing scope as well as the Misc. Metals scope for the Disney Cruise Terminal located in Cape Canaveral Florida. This facility is being enhanced to better serve the vacationers who will be enjoying a cruise on the Disney Cruise Line.
